Fireplace Decoration

I have been really into grey and yellow lately, which is why we were wearing yellow, grey, and navy in our family pictures.

When I saw this canvas painting on Pinterest, I loved it immediately and created my own version.

I enlarged one of our family pics at Costco (super inexpensive!) and put it in a white frame to match my mirror and bull pitcher (garage sale finds).  I thought all the white and large items helped take away a little from the huge dark brown wood wall.  I really like the way it turned out!

Yes, that is a dirty mirror!
This mirror is another craft project of mine.  It was a beautiful gold framed mirror but it needed a little color in our living room. So, now it is a beautiful blue. Painting stuff us so much fun!

  1. Pinterest has so many good ideas! The tutorials on it are always so clear and easy, it makes me want to get out my sewing machine and do some projects. I saw a tutorial for ombre dying shirts and I think we need to do that in your garage this winter with Mak.

  2. I love it! Costco is the best for pictures! I love how inexpensive it is. That is where I get all of mine.
